A castle under construction! Perfect for discussing the different stages of construction, the trades involved, tools, and leaving with a master builder's staff!
• Daily life in the Middle Ages (cycles 2-3)
1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes – €100 – per half class
A visit for small groups or the whole class using games created specifically for the castle. A journey to understand daily life in the Middle Ages and the social hierarchy of feudal society. This visit does not include the ramparts!

1 hour – €100 – per half class
A visit in small groups to observe and analyze the landscape. Telescopes, IGN maps, cadastral maps… tools to understand the strategic choice of the site, identify medieval buildings, and trace the city's evolution through a puzzle. Drawing time included.

After an introduction in the chapel to understand what a knight is and to be knighted; time for a coat of arms workshop to create your own while discovering and respecting the rules of heraldry.

Option 1: Archery (in half-groups)
Option 2: Fencing (entire class)
A sporting experience with archery to discover weapons, the codes of chivalry, and train like a knight of the castle. Please note that archery is only for those with a C3 level or higher.
With the archery association Les Archers Castelneuvois, or Gilles Martinez from the Rochemaure HEMA academy, a fencing master specializing in historical fencing.
