Strollers

Strollers and metal baby carriers are not permitted on the tour route. If needed, you can leave your stroller at the castle entrance (at the Reception desk). Our staff can provide Ergobaby carriers depending on availability (ID required). For your convenience, we recommend bringing a front-facing baby carrier for your visit.

Changing table

There is no changing table, but it is possible to use one in a secluded area at the castle reception. Don't hesitate to ask the staff there.

Locker

There are no changing rooms or lockers at Montélimar Castle.

Visitor comfort in the castle

Be prepared, the temperature inside the castle varies according to the seasons.
In summer, it can get hot in the rooms, so remember to bring water. You can refill your containers on site. If needed, bottled water is available for purchase from a vending machine. Conversely, it can get cold in the castle in winter.

Food and drinks

Eating is not permitted inside Montélimar Castle. Depending on the season, a few tables and chairs are set up in the lower courtyard: you are welcome to sit there, and snacks are permitted. If you wish, the castle grounds are available year-round for picnics or afternoon tea.

Please note that a vending machine is available at the castle reception (drinks + sweet snacks).

Montélimar town centre is a 5-minute walk from the castle. There are many dining options available, depending on your preferences and budget.
